(San Diego, CA. – February 4, 2016) Anthony J. Sbarra, Jr. served as moderator of a products liability panel presentation at the ABA’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Midyear Meeting in San Diego, CA on February 4, 2016. The presentation, entitled “The Corporate Insider’s View of the Future of Product Liability Litigation in the U.S.,” featured insights from General Counsel from Ansun Biopharma, Inc. and Senior Legal Counsel from Kawasaki Motors Corp. Tony, who serves as Chair of the TIPS Products Liability Committee, led the discussion which was delivered to many product liability lawyers from throughout the country. Tony’s paper on the filing trends of Federal Court products cases, “The Game is not Over,” was also part of the presentation.
In Tony’s practice, he defends product manufacturers, insurers and others in complex product liability, toxic tort, asbestos, bad faith/consumer protection, automobile and general liability matters. Tony has tried to verdict over thirty Superior Court cases and has arbitrated and mediated hundreds of others.
