Hermes Netburn Attorney, John R. Felice, Nominated to Board of Directors for Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association
(Boston, MA. May 21, 2012) – John Felice, a shareholder of Hermes, Netburn, O'Connor & Spearing, P.C., has been nominated to the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Felice has substantial experience representing manufacturers and distributors of asbestos and asbestos-containing products in toxic tort cases pending in multiple jurisdictions. He also represents clients in product and premises liability claims, including negligent security claims, product defect claims, and claims involving toxic exposure to mold.
In addition to his product and premises liability practice, Mr. Felice represents insurers and insureds in state and federal courts in connection with claims for coverage on general liability, property, professional liability, directors and officers liability, umbrella and excess policies, and fidelity and surety bonds. Mr. Felice also represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in the defense of construction-related litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death, defective workmanship and breach of contract claims. Mr. Felice has litigated numerous multiparty construction cases involving scaffolding accidents, exposure to toxic substances, and building defects.
The Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association is a voluntary association of trial lawyers who defend corporations, individuals and insurance companies in civil lawsuits. The purpose of the Association is to improve the administration of justice, legal education, and professional standards and to promote collegiality and civility among all members of the bar.
