Hermes Netburn Attorney, Kevin P. Polansky, Speaks at Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association’s Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar
(Boston, MA. May 21, 2012) – Kevin P. Polansky, an associate of Hermes, Netburn, O’Connor & Spearing, spoke at the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association’s Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar in Boston, Massachusetts. Kevin provided a presentation concerning coverage issues relating to intentional and criminal act exclusions in liability policies. Specifically, Kevin addressed the issues raised by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s decision in Metropolitan Prop. and Cas. Ins. Co. v. Robert Morrison, Jr., 460 Mass. 352 (2011).
Kevin has substantial experience representing insurers and insureds in state and federal courts in connection with claims for coverage on general liability, property, professional liability, directors and officers liability, umbrella and excess policies, and fidelity and surety bonds. He also represents clients in product and premises liability claims, product defect claims and personal injury claims. Kevin also represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in the defense of construction-related litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death, defective workmanship and breach of contract claims.
