Hermes Netburn Attorney, Holly M. Polglase, Speaks at Product Liability Conference

Polglase, a products liability attorney and shareholder at Hermes, Netburn, O’Connor & Spearing, P.C. spoke at the recent DRI Product Liability Conference in Las Vegas Nevada. Holly’s presentation, “Selling Consumer Products in the United States: Reporting and Recalls” gave a detailed outline of the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s self-reporting obligations and requirements for recalling products. The program detailed what manufacturers, importers and sellers of consumer goods in the US need to know about self-reporting of product hazards and the penalties for failing to act. The presentation also outlined the steps which must be taken to effectuate a voluntary recall and how to work with the CPSC to ensure a smooth and effective recall of a consumer product.
