Cynthia J. Stephens is an associate of Hermes, Netburn, O'Connor & Spearing, P.C., a Boston law firm that provides a wide range of legal services.  Ms. Stephens focuses her practice on the areas of civil and toxic tort litigation and construction law, as well as insurance defense.

Prior to joining Hermes, Netburn, O’Connor & Spearing, P.C. in 2007, Ms. Stephens concentrated her legal practice in the defense of complex toxic tort cases, including mold, lead poisoning, asbestos, chemical exposure, and indoor air quality claims.  She second-chaired the first Massachusetts lead poisoning case to go to trial that obtained a defense verdict, and defended a Massachusetts town in a toxic tort claim that attracted media attention and dealt with legal issues of the first impression.  She has spoken on the topic of toxic torts across the county at large national conferences, business organizations, and small county groups.

Cynthia lives in Stoughton, Massachusetts, with her husband.
