Peter C. Netburn is a shareholder and founding member of Hermes, Netburn, O'Connor & Spearing, P.C., a Boston law firm that provides a wide range of legal services. Mr. Netburn concentrates his practice on the areas of general, civil and commercial litigation, construction law, surety and fidelity law, insurance coverage and defense, environmental and business law, complex tort and product liability law. Mr. Netburn has extensive experience handling complex matters throughout the New England states and beyond and he regularly litigates cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Netburn has been named a Massachusetts SuperLawyer in the field of general litigation and he has received the highest ranking established by Martindale-Hubbell’s Law Directory. This rating is only given to lawyers and law firms which are considered to have the Very High to Preeminent legal ability and who are thought to embrace Very High Professional Standards.
Peter was born in London, England, and grew up as an overseas dependent. He now lives in Sudbury, Massachusetts, with his wife and two children.

Mr. Netburn received his B.A. degree, cum laude, in 1982 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York, and he received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1985.
