Robert W. Monaghan is senior counsel at Hermes, Netburn, O'Connor & Spearing, P.C., a Boston law firm that provides a wide range of legal services.  Mr. Monaghan concentrates his practice on the areas of general, civil and commercial litigation, construction law, surety and fidelity law, insurance coverage and defense, environmental and business law, complex tort and product liability law.  Mr. Monaghan has 35 years of extensive experience handling complex employee dishonesty and major construction claims for insurers throughout the United States, including litigation and negotiation of matters involving financial institutions, government agencies, owners and indemnitors.

Mr. Monaghan lives in Braintree with his wife.

Mr. Monaghan received his B.B.A. degree in 1966 from St. John’s University and he received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1969.
