Peter G. Hermes is President and a founding member of Hermes, Netburn, O'Connor & Spearing, P.C., a Boston law firm that provides a wide range of legal services.  Mr. Hermes concentrates his practice on the areas of general, civil and commercial litigation, construction law, surety and fidelity law, insurance coverage and defense, environmental and business law, complex tort and product liability law.  Mr. Hermes has extensive experience handling complex matters throughout the New England states and beyond and he regularly litigates cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts.

Mr. Hermes has been named a Massachusetts SuperLawyer in the field of construction/surety and he has received the highest ranking established by Martindale-Hubbell’s Law Directory.  This rating is only given to lawyers and law firms which are considered to have the Very High to Preeminent legal ability and who are thought to embrace Very High Professional Standards. 

Peter lives in Arlington, Massachusetts, with his wife.

Mr. Hermes received his B.A. degree in 1969 from Manhattan College and he received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1972.
